Fleur Mainville and the Bedlam Boys CD release

The CD release party that we had at the deCoste Center in Pictou was a HIT! They had to add more chairs! Now as a musician from
Pictou County it becomes sort of a dream to play at the deCoste and because of you, I was able to sell tickets to an almost sold out crowd!
I had a blast!
I'd like to thank the staff at the deCoste Center and John Muir and Darlene MacDonald from the bottom of my heart!
Thanks to Al Gunn, who made us sound so good!

New CD

What a busy summer!
I've been very busy in the studio.
Ashley George is getting ready to release his solo album "Next Goal Wins". It's an acoustic album with great vocals and 15 tracks that Ashley has written. It's also full of fiddle! woohoo! He's expecting it out the before the end of August.
I myself have been busy with a project as well. Hayward Parrot who produced MacKeel's Plaid has a beautiful new studio at St. Cecilia's off of Purcell's Cove rd. It's an old church that was transformed into a studio. He's produced my latest album " My Rare One".

It's almost Summer

As most of you know I was very sick over the last year.
I have something called Carcinoid Bowel Cancer. All of the cancer from my bowel was removed and I have a few spots on my liver to attend to.
The good news is that I feel great!
I have no Dr. appointments until August and I have a very busy summer planned.
I'll be a part of the Summer Sounds at the Decoste Center in Pictou again this year. We have shows from July 7th through till the 9th, again from August 4th though till the 6th and from August 11th through until the 16th for the Hector Festival.

Welcome!

I would like to thank everyone for their patience this summer. It took awhile to get the website back up and running.
Thanks to Ariana for all her hard work! It looks fantastic!
I'm going to use the blog to let everyone know what I'm up to and where I'm performing next. Keep in touch and keep checking the blog out every 2 weeks or so.
I'm back into the full swing of things with students and very busy performing with Potter's Field.
The Potter's Field site should be up and running very soon so keep posted for that as well. www.pottersfieldmusic.ca
